Welcome to the Old Winterport Commercial House
antique shop and bed and breakfast in downtown, historic
Winterport, Maine. Conveniently located on Rt. 1A and only 10
miles from downtown Bangor, Maine.
Our antique shop consists of 4,000 sq. ft. filled with furnishings for both your home and office.
You’ll be amazed at the furniture, clocks, architectural items, stained glass, and collectibles that we
carry. We do deliver within the state of Maine but don’t hesitate to inquire if you live out of state.
Hours and days vary upon season, so please click on antique shop to see our current business hours.
You may also inquire about our repair service. Before you decide to throw away your favorite old piece
of furniture let us give you a quote to repair it. We even rewire old lighting.
Our bed and breakfast is open year round. Come
stay with us and wake up in an 1833 stagecoach
stop surrounded by beautiful antiques including
armoires, marble top dressers, and other
furnishings.
And while you enjoy your breakfast in our
"Jeannette Room" you can reminisce about the
people who have stayed here before you such as
Alexander Longfellow (brother of poet Henry
Wadsworth Longfellow), folk singer Dave Mallet,
and the singing groups The Waybacks & Shaun
Chambers Band.
For availability check our
or simply do it the old fashioned way and call us!
We'd love to talk to you and tell you about our
comfortable and historic inn.
