An 1833 inn and stagecoach stop converted into a 4,000 sq. ft. antique shop and second floor
bed & breakfast with private baths.
Welcome to the
Old Winterport
Commercial House
 antique
shop and bed and breakfast in
downtown, historic Winterport,
Maine.

Conveniently located on
Rt. 1A, 10 miles
from downtown Bangor, Maine.
Our antique shop consists of 4,000 sq. ft. filled with furnishings for both your home and office as well as
clocks, architectural items, stained glass, and collectibles.   We deliver within the state of Maine and sometimes
out of state.  So don’t hesitate to inquire.

Hours and days vary upon season, so please click on
antique shop to see our current business hours.

Also ask us about
"It Needs Ray's Attention" repair service.  Ray repairs furniture and rewires old
lighting as well as some other unusual repairs. See his before and after pictures. Click here -
Repairs.
Come stay in our bed and breakfast and wake up in an 1833
stagecoach stop surrounded by beautiful antiques including
armoires, marble top dressers, and other furnishings.

And while you enjoy your breakfast in our "Jeannette Room"
you can reminisce about the people who have stayed here
before you such as Alexander Longfellow (brother of poet
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow) and folk singer Dave Mallet.

If you are looking for lunch and/or dinner choices, we
recommend The Winterport House of Pizza.  Don't let the name
fool you!  They do much more than pizza.  During the summers
they offer lobster roll specials, fried clams as well as fried
haddock dinners.  In Hampden, just 7 miles north, our guests
regularly go to Angler's Restaurant (where the locals go for
seafood), McLaughlin's at the Marina (scenic views of the
Penobscot River and great seafood), or just 10 miles north is
our favorite Irish place, Geaghan's.

For availability check our                                                or simply do
it the old fashioned way and call us!  We'd love to talk to you
and tell you about our comfortable and historic inn.

Our breakfast room affectionately called "The
Jeannette Room" in rememberance of Ann's
mom who had always wanted her own B&B.

With each day, there is a
new beginning, as well as
hope.
